You hear me time and time again speak of BRANDING yourself. You will notice that major brands are attractive. But they are only attractive because they solve problems or give the buyer what they desire. So my question to you is “Are you giving your team or audience what they need to succeed”? What brand are you in their eyes? Are you a Mercedes Benz or a Geo Metro?
Here is how you become a major brand:
Be consistent in your delivery of solutions to problems.
Get into the heads of your target prospects.
Find out what they want.
Find out what they struggle with.
Find out their common problems.
Have a content creation and syndication process that solves problems.
Again, be consistent in delivery of solutions to problems.
Don’t worry; here are some ways to come up with killer content:
1. Use existing and new training- pick three niches of your training to specialize in.
2. Ask People what their #1 question is about a problem or issue. –Examples: Company Names, Marketing Online, Marketing Offline, Making Money on the Internet, etc. You can do this through any form of questionnaire. Use this information, in the form of questions, to create your blog titles.
3. Your local Book Store- You will get writers block at times and the bookstore is a good source to bail you out. I know most major book stores have gone out of business, so just use the online book stores and/or light up your Kindle JGrab 3 to 6 books on your niche. Ok …I hear your excuses already. No money, then go to your public library. Case closed!
TIP: Read a book. Write in your blog; reference the book you read in your blog; place your Amazon affiliate link of the book you read in your blog. Even if the person does not buy the book, you will still get credit if he or she buys something else… as long as they are still at Amazon.com.
